Terms of Service
Last updated: April 26, 2026
Welcome to Composeably by Compose LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”) and Compose LLC (“Compose LLC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) governing your access to and use of the Composeably website and platform (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Composeably is a multi-agent build system. You describe an application in natural language and our agents plan, write, review, build, and deliver it inside isolated cloud sandboxes. Outputs may include source code, build artifacts (e.g. Android APKs), preview deployments, and pushes to source-control repositories you connect.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or older where required by local law) and legally able to enter into these Terms.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account or organization.
- Account information must be accurate and kept up to date.
- One person or organization per account; do not share credentials.
3. Credits and billing
Use of the Service is metered in “credits”. Each task reserves a credit balance up front and is billed per pipeline phase as agents complete work. Pricing, bundle sizes, and the conversion between credits and US dollars are described on our billing page and may change with prospective effect.
- Credit purchases are processed by Stripe and charged to your selected payment method.
- Purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law. Credits consumed by completed agent phases are not refundable, even if you are dissatisfied with the output.
- If a task fails and is not credited as a successful build, the unused portion of its reservation is automatically returned to your balance.
- Credits do not constitute money, do not accrue interest, and may expire after a period of account inactivity disclosed at the time of purchase.
- You authorize us to charge applicable taxes in addition to listed prices.
4. Your content and rights in generated output
“Your Content” means the prompts, descriptions, files, secrets, and other materials you submit to the Service. As between you and us, you retain all rights in Your Content. You grant Composeably a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you, including by sending it to the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy.
Subject to your payment of any applicable credits and ongoing compliance with these Terms, Composeably assigns to you all of its right, title, and interest in the source code and build artifacts generated for your project (the “Generated Output”). You are responsible for the licensing, compliance, and operation of the Generated Output once it leaves the Service. Because Generated Output is produced by AI models, identical or similar output may be produced for other users; we make no representation that Generated Output is unique to you.
5. Compose LLC’s intellectual property
The Service — including its design, software, agent prompts and orchestration, templates, models, and the Composeably brand — is owned by Compose LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials, or build a competing service from the Service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property and privacy rights).
- Generate, host, or distribute malware, spyware, ransomware, or other malicious code, or to attack or probe systems you do not own or have permission to test.
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights, or to clone branded products in a way intended to deceive consumers.
- Generate content that is illegal, sexually exploitative of minors, harassing, defamatory, or designed to incite violence or discrimination.
- Upload or process personal information for which you do not have a legal basis, or sensitive categories of data (e.g. health, biometric, government identifiers) without an appropriate agreement with us.
- Circumvent our usage limits, billing, or security controls; share your account credentials; or use the Service to train competing AI models.
- Submit prompts, files, or instructions designed to cause our agents to perform actions outside the scope of your project (prompt injection against the platform itself).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, and may report illegal activity to authorities.
7. Third-party services and integrations
The Service connects to third-party services such as GitHub, Stripe, and others. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. You are responsible for the scopes you grant to integrations and for any actions taken on your behalf using tokens you provide.
8. AI output disclaimer
Generated Output is produced by large language models and automated tools. It may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, license-incompatible code, fabricated APIs, or other defects. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating Generated Output before using it in production, distributing it, or relying on it for any purpose. Composeably is not a substitute for professional engineering, legal, security, or compliance review.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not commit to any uptime, latency, or build-success guarantee unless agreed in a separate written agreement. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (e.g. model providers, sandboxes), and force-majeure events may cause downtime.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, create risk for the Service or other users, or as required by law. Upon termination: your license to use the Service ends; we will retain or delete your data per our Privacy Policy and applicable law; sections of these Terms intended to survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service and all Generated Output are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compose LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid Compose LLC in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Compose LLC and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) Your Content; (b) your use of the Generated Output; (c) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or any law; or (d) your infringement of any third-party right.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g. by email or in-product banner). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
15. Governing law and disputes
Compose LLC is organized in the State of Michigan, United States. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration seated in Michigan, except where prohibited by law. To the extent a dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and Compose LLC consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan. You waive any right to participate in class-action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration related to the Service. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Composeably regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Notices. We may give notice by email to the address on your account or by posting in-product. Notices to us must be sent to the address below.
